Acupuncture to Treat Colitis

Chinese Research Dr. Jin H et. al used vagus nerve stimulation and electrical acupuncture to treat colitis in rats. ES on ST36 and SP6 can enhance the vagal nerve activity and improve their digestion. Electrical acupuncture can reduce the release of a number of small molecules, which lead to chronic inflammation in chemical-induced colitis. Please read the article in Am.
